We were born on the beautiful island of Ibiza, surrounded by fields of reddish earth and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea. They call it the white island because of its whitewashed houses, which have a very particular texture created by the handprints of the person who made them. 

Our origins, our love for crafts, our passion for lighting and humble materials such as gesso or paper has brought us back to the place we were born.

It was about to make something sustainable, affordable, non-polluting, low cost and beautiful. 

Spurna is a Latin word that means “source” or “spring”. In our local language it also means “spark”. Our brand is based on the belief that good design should be accessible to everyone.

*We are concerned about our fragile environment, as well as our commitment to sustainability, and for not generating emissions. 

*Our products are all handmade in our workshop in Ibiza, using traditional methods and natural materials.
